Chevrolet and Walt Disney World Collaborate on New Electric Vehicle Reveal

Over the weekend a new collaboration was revealed between Walt Disney World and Chevrolet to introduce the all-electric Chevy redesigned 2022 Bolt EV and the all-new Bolt EUV.

As part of the reveal, Chevrolet shared that, “The dream of an electric future is more than just technology — it’s about having the desire, inspiration and innovation to build a better tomorrow.” With this vision, a video was shared that revealed not only the collaboration behind this magical reveal, but also the engineers and experts who brought this technology to life.

Along with seeing behind the scenes of the collaboration, a new reveal video for the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV. With the slogan, “magic is electric,” the reveal shares some of the features on the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV along with a lot of Disney magic. There are hitchhiking ghosts, Dumbo, an X-wing, the Millennium Falcon, and even a beloved purple dragon from EPCOT!

The new Bolt EV and Bolt EUV have some new features included as well, that were seen in the video reveal. One of these is the Super Cruise, which is a hands free option for compatible roads. One of these roads is the entrance to Walt Disney World.

Couple this with the panoramic sunroof and this makes these vehicles something that is great for road trips!

Both of these vehicles also include Sport Mode, to add a little more excitement to your adventure! In this case, it is like taking the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV into hyperspace!

Another new feature that is touted is the new Rear Camera Mirror.

According to the Chevrolet website, these models will be available the summer of 2021. More information can be found at chevy.com/ev. The collaboration between General Motors (which owns Chevrolet) and Disney go back to the early days of Disney. Disney was commissioned by Disney in the 1940s to create a training video for the company. Decades later when Disney was looking for sponsors for EPCOT, GM sponsored the World of Motion pavilion. This would eventually become Test Track in 1999. In 2012, the attraction was updated and continues to be sponsored by Chevrolet.
