Welcome to another weekly edition of DISNEY Reporter! Each week, we share the top five Disney and geek stories as covered by DAPS MAGIC!
This week, things start off at Walt Disney World Resort with the announcement that its 50th Anniversary celebration will be starting on October 1, 2021. The festivities will include added enhancements to Cinderella Castle, new costumes for Mickey and Minnie, and some Beacons of Magic at night! Around the globe, Hong Kong Disneyland reopened this week to continue its 15th anniversary celebration. At the Disneyland Resort in California, Star Wars Trading Post has opened at its new home at what was formerly the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney District. This week it was also announced that the Virtual CHOC Walk will be held on May 22nd. Stay tuned to DAPS MAGIC for future updates on this. Finally, the first trailer for Disney’s Cruella has been released that shows Emma Stone in the title role. What did you think of it?
