Star Wars Trading Post

The Star Wars Trading Post Moving into Former Rainforest Cafe Building

If you’re looking to shop, Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort is your place to go! While Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park remain closed due to COVID-19, you can pick up some Disney park merchandise. For Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merchandise, you can head to the Star Wars Trading Post, now in a new home!

Formerly, you could find The Star Wars Trading Post at the home of the WonderGround Gallery. The Gallery was in the heart of the Downtown Disney District, across from Tortilla Jo’s and Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Many fans were disappointed to see the gallery in the shopping district disappear, as it was a chance to buy unique pieces of art from Disney featured artists.

In a post on the Disney Parks Blog this morning, Disney announced that the trading post would be moving to a new home on the west end of Downtown Disney District. This home will be the building that formerly housed the themed restaurant Rainforest Cafe. In the previous weeks, Asian Street Eats, which had parked in front of the empty building, had been removed from the list of vendors. We are thrilled to see this transformation of the West end of the district!

In even more wonderful news, Disney has announced that the WonderGround Gallery will be reopening to the public very soon! We can’t wait to see what comes next at the Downtown Disney District!
