Reboot of Darkwing Duck in the Works fo Disney+

After the successful reboot of DuckTales a new reboot is in the works from the original Disney Afternoon. Variety is reporting that now a Darkwing Duck reboot is in the works for Disney’s streaming service.

At this point there is no writer attached with the project. However, the team is beginning to come together. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee of Point Grey Pictures will be executive producers. McAtee is tasked with overseeing the project.

Neither Point Grey Pictures or Disney have confirmed anything to this story.

The original Darkwing Duck was created by Tad Stones and ran from 1991 to 1992 for three seasons. In total, there were 91 episodes. It featured the voice talents of Jim Cummings as Darkwing Duck, Christine Cavanaugh as Gosalyn, and Terry McGovern as Launchpad. Jim Cummings has reprised the role for the DuckTales reboot.
