It’s a great time to be a Marvel fan! Last week, we announced that WandaVision would be coming to Disney+ in 2020, one year earlier than it was originally planned. Tonight, Marvel premiered the new WandaVision trailer during the Emmy Awards!
In the trailer, we get to see a look at Wanda and Vision living a suburban life. Of course, not all is as it seems as they just can’t seem to fit into normal life. While they are living in the 50s aesthetic, there is a laugh track behind them that reproduces the feel of an American sitcom during the 1950s. While the switch eras and aesthetics, we get a chance to see both Scarlet Witch and Vision in their traditional comic book costumes. This was very fun to see!
I am incredibly excited to see Kathryn Hahn’s character, as she seems to know more about the couple than everyone else around them. While they haven’t disclosed the name of the character that she will be playing, I know that it will be a memorable part of the series when it drops on Disney+ later this year.
