Bowers Museum to Reopen September 12th As Walt Disney Archives Exhibit Gets Extended.

The Bowers Museum will be again reopening after closing in July for a second time due to COVID-19. The museum will reopen its doors on September 12th. With the news of the Bowers Museum reopening comes news about Inside the Walt Disney Archives: 50 Years of Preserving the Magic. This exhibit will now have its run extended through February 28, 2021.

Reservations are suggested for those who wish to visit Bowers Museum as the museum is utilizing a timed entry system to manage capacity. Get tickets online for the timed entry at Bowers.org. For those who had tickets purchased during the closure, contact visitorservices@bowers.org to reschedule.

The Bowers Museum is again utilizing safety protocols for both staff and guests to the museum. The safety protocols can be found on the Bowers Museum website on the Health and Safety Page. Face coverings and social distancing are among the safety protocols being observed at the museum. Also, all guests will be asked to enter on the entrance off of Main Street to help ensure traffic control and also capacity.

Inside the Walt Disney Archives: 50 Years of Preserving the Magic originally opened in March and was scheduled to run until August 30. The DAPS MAGIC team was on hand for the opening of this magical exhibit.
