Welcome to another weekly edition of the DISNEY Reporter. Each week we take a look at the top five stories from the Disney and geek communities. This week starts off with incredibly sad news. Chadwick Boseman is dead at the age of 43. The Black Panther star died of colon cancer.
In happier entertainment news, a new Haunted Mansion movie is in the works with Katie Dippold writing it. Kelly Marie Tran is also now voicing the title character in Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon.
Over at Walt Disney World Resort, the Magic Kingdom will be celebrating fall and Halloween this year.
Finally, a new documentary from Defunctland on the band Halyx is now online (and free). This is the documentary you never knew you needed but you definitely need to see!
