Star Wars: The Bad Batch Animated Series to Debut on Disney+ in 2021

Next year, Disney fans will get a chance to explore the world of The Clone Wars in a new series! This morning, it was announced that the Disney+ streaming service has ordered the next Star Wars animated series which will be called Star Wars: The Bad Batch and will debut on Disney+ in 2021.

The series will focus on the clones named the Bad Batch that were first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. These clones each have an extraordinary talent that separates them from the traditional clones and makes them an incredible team when they work together. This series will deliver more of the excitement that fans got from The Clone Wars and deliver it with new stories.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is executive produced by Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance) and Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance, NCIS) with Carrie Beck (The Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels) as co-executive producer and Josh Rimes as producer (Star Wars Resistance). Rau is also serving as supervising director with Corbett as head writer.
