The First Order Descends on Disney Springs as Businesses Continue to Reopen

This week World of Disney and other establishments opened as Disney Springs continues its phased reopening. With the reopening of World of Disney came some surprise visitors. The First Order arrived to survey the area for members of the Resistance. First Order Stormtroopers can be found above Disney Springs in balconies as they pursue their mission.

Disney Springs reopened at the Walt Disney World Resort on May 20th with World of Disney opening on May 27th. This week the reopening plan for Walt Disney World Resort was presented. If approved, the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be reopening on July 11th. Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT will be reopening on July 15th.

With the reopening will come changes to the way things are done at Walt Disney World Resort. Face masks will be required for both guests and Cast Members. There will be other health and safety protocols put in place. The reopening plan has also caused the cancelation of Disney Dining reservations, FastPass+, and Extra Magic Hours for the foreseeable future.
