Ikspiari at Tokyo Disneyland Resort Set to Reopen on June 1

While Tokyo Disneyland Resort remains closed to the general public, fans have been wondering what could come next. Today, we found out that Ikspiari, a shopping mall in Tokyo Disneyland Resort, would be opening to the general public and welcoming guests in once again on June 1.

As the mall opens to guests, the shopping mall will only be open from 11:00 to 19:00. While the cinema will open with Ikspiari, the theater will not show any late screenings of films to ensure that guests aren’t in the mall too late. Of course, not all shops will open with the mall and some may be subject to different operating hours.

At this time, Tokyo Disneyland Resort has announced that it will extend its closure until the state of emergency is lifted for Japan.  While the originally announced that this decision would be made in Mid-May, they have decided to extend the shutdown to protect guests that come into the resort. When they announced the decision to reopen the resort, Disney will determine a new opening date for their expansion of Fantasyland.
