Jack London originally wrote the book The Call of the Wild that was published in 1903. It told of story of a dog stolen from California during the Klondike gold rush and was sent to Alaska to become a sled dog. This dog, Buck, discovers just how harsh Alaska can be for sled dogs. As he struggles with these terrible conditions, he also feels the call of the wild. In this version of the story, Harrison Ford joins in the story of Buck for this epic adventure.
