The third season of DuckTales is almost here. With the arrival of this season will also come the arrival of one of Disney’s most beloved character, goofy. Disney has released a new clip of Goofy arriving in the series. In the clip, he shows up at Donald Duck’s apparently new home. Goofy won’t be the only character to arrive from the Disney Afternoon on DuckTales this season. Throughout season 3, fans will also see Daisy Duck along with characters from Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Talespin, Darkwing Duck, and The Wuzzles . How big each of their roles willl be and how they fit into the plotline of the series remains to be seen. If the last season is any indication though, this is going to be well worth watching.
In DuckTales, Goofy will be the version of himself that is reminiscent of the late 90s and early 2,000s. Co-Creator Francisco Angones shared with Comicbook.com how the DuckTales team is pulling everyone together for the show saying, “We kind of said that there’s a unified theory of DuckTales, which is that every version of everything you know still exists somewhere. We’re going to try to provide, no matter where you know these characters from, we’re going to provide you with a version that feels updated, but recognized.”
