Today the Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue opened at EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort. Hosted by Coca-Cola, this new dining establishment at the America Pavilion is themed around Sam Eagle of The Muppets and offers different barbecue dishes from around the United States. It is a distinctly patriotic place to eat.
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue is the home of “Sam’s Centennial Cook-Off: A Salute to All Cook-Offs but Mostly Barbecue,” where classic barbecue from across the United States is pitted against each other in this patriotic competition. The result of this competition is a collection of foods for guests at EPCOT to enjoy!
The menu includes multiple BBQ dishes. They range from Kansas City smoked chicken, to Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, to North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt, or even a Texas beef brisket sandwich. There is also a Power Greens Salad that includes fresh citrus fruit, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and radishes drizzled with a fresh citrus vinaigrette all topped with chilled pulled chicken. For those looking for a plant-based option, there is a BBQ Jackfruit Burger that is served on garlic toast available.
The dining area is both inside and outside of the America Pavilion at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. Outdoors there is a bar and patio where guests can joy a plethora of all-American beverages. This includes craft brews and ciders from across the United States on draft as well as wines of the west coast, and Coca-Cola beverages. There are also specialty regional cocktails including the Tennessee Lemonade with whiskey and peach or the non-alcoholic Berry Punch with white grape juice, strawberry, peach, and blackberry.
For fans of Sam Eagle, there is a merchandise location nearby that will feature exclusive merchandise featuring Sam Eagle himself! Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will be a fun place to visit, eat, and celebrate not only America, but also The Muppets!
