“Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” will be saying goodbye soon at the Walt Disney World Resort. The show, which brings characters from many different Star Wars together will be saying goodbye on February 22nd, according to the Walt Disney World website. The show includes heroes, villains, and droids from the Star Wars universe. The closure comes ahead of the March 4th opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at the Chinese Theatre, which is right behind the stage that presents “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away.”
This Star Wars show is presented multiple times throughout the day in front of the Chinese Theatre on a mobile stage. With the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming soon, it makes sense that Disney would want the focal point throughout the day to be the new attraction and not the Star Wars show.
The closure of this show comes after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge five and a half months ago. It is unknown at this time if there will be any new entertainment arriving in the new land that will replace “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away.”
