Snow White’s Scary Adventures is going to get some updates in 2020. This attraction is the only attraction with a story based on a Disney princess in Fantasyland at Disneyland. Walt Disney Imagineering is coming up with some new magic for the attraction next year. When finished, guests will be able to experience the story of Snow White with more magic than ever before!
The attraction will build off the classic story that has been told since the opening day at the Disneyland Resort on July 17, 1955. Just as happened in 1983, new storytelling devices and magic will be added to the attraction. During this upgrade, the attraction boasted new effects and a new facade. In 2020, when the attraction celebrates its 65th anniversary, it will have even more additions!
One of the new additions to the attraction will show Snow White in the forest waking up from her apple-induced sleep. The attraction will also be getting a new ending. In it, Snow White will be reunited with her animal friends with her happily ever after castle glowing in the background. Imagineers will also be adding new LED effects, new music, and laser projection, and even a new animation system. The outside of the attraction will also be updated to match the new look of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
