The Muppets Present… Great Moments in AMERICAN History Says Goodbye

Today The Muppets Present… Great Moments in AMERICAN History ends its run at the Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square. This daily show told the story of two important moments during the Revolutionary War as the United States of America became a country. There were two regular shows, one that told the story of the midnight ride of Paul Revere and the other about the Declaration of Independence.

The Muppets Present… Great Moments in AMERICAN History captured the essence of Muppet storytelling with its humor, zaniness, and heart. Throughout the week, fans stopped by to pay their respects. Sometimes, the same fans were stopping by multiple times. More showed up throughout the week leading to the final big goodbye today.

The Muppets Present… Great Moments in AMERICAN History was performed by live puppeteers daily. It also included the voices of Steve Whitmire, Dave Goelz, Eric Jacobson. Muppet Studios and these performers also provided guidance for the show. At this point, no show is slated to replace it. It also is unknown what is next for The Muppets in the Disney parks currently.

The Muppets’ next gig will be to appear in an unscripted series on Disney+, Disney’s new streaming service that will be arriving on screens on November 12, 2019. This show will feature celebrity guest stars and debut sometime in 2020.

    Never been down to Fla.Thus Thank You for filming this..Any time a franchise does American History is a good thing for those comming up behind us..Thus think it’s a bad they stopped doing the show.
