Sunday Recap Report – Photos, Food, and Fun!

Welcome back to another “Sunday Recap Report!” It was a rather beautiful day at the Disneyland Resort! It was a cool fall day, which made it for a great day! And of course, every Sunday begins with the obligatory photo of the Main Street Train Station as seen after entering the gates of Disneyland!

I got to Disneyland around noon, and met up with Caitie, Jenny, and Troy at Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland. We sat there for awhile as they had just finished some yummy snacks. Soon after, we headed to the Castle Forecourt for some PhotoPass photos! Our PhotoPass photographer made it very fun by having us do some fun poses! We then headed to AP Corner at Star Wars Launch Bay. Buttons were no longer available, but we were able to get the AP Halloween magnet. After that, we headed upstairs to get some more fun photos!

Next we made our way to Main Street for some ice cream but stopped to see the Dapper Dans at Coke Corner. They are always fun to see, and their Halloween set is always very entertaining! We finally got our ice cream then sat at Coke Corner enjoying it. I got a double scoop of strawberry and Fantasia ice cream, while Caitie got chocolate ice cream.

After enjoying some ice cream, we headed to Disneyana and chatted with our friend Annie. While there, we saw the new Minnie Tiara Headband Ears designed by Heidi Klum. They are the most expensive Ears to date, and will cost you $600 for a pair.

Around 2:30pm, we said goodbye to Caitie and Troy. Jenny and I continued on to Disney California Adventure where we met up with Murray. We walked around Cars Land as Jenny hadn’t really seen Cars Land and its Halloween decor.

We next headed to the Boudin Bread Factory. We got to see sourdough bread being made, as well as bakers preparing the Vampire Mickey Sourdough Bread. That was definitely fun to see! We then headed towards Pixar Pier, and as we walked that way, we saw Red the Fire Truck in his Halloween costume. Red is a clown, nose and all! He was meeting and greeting guests near the Pacific Wharf entrance of Cars Land. We finally made our way to Pixar Pier, and while there went for a spin on Jessie’s Critter Carousel. We got the ‘Prospector Pete’ song, and that was fun!

We continued walking around Pixar Pier and then headed out of Disney California Adventure and went back to Disneyland for an early dinner. We went to a Plaza Inn, and I got the penne pasta with chicken Alfredo sauce. We sat there enjoying conversation until around 6:45pm before heading to Town Square to get a spot for the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Around 7:30pm, Jenny and Murray mobile ordered ice cream from Gibson Girl. Jenny wanted the green waffle bowl, and was lucky enough to get it with her ice cream! Green is Jenny’s favorite color so she was very happy and giddy! Around 7:45pm, I headed to Market House Starbucks to get an iced coffee because it was National Coffee Day! The line was out the door, and I ended up waiting nearly a half hour! I finally got my iced coffee and then headed back to Town Square, but stopped to take a picture of my iced coffee with the Mickey Pumpkin!

Finally, it was time for the Main Street Electrical Parade. This was the last time during this run that I would be able to see the parade. We are not sure if this parade will return, but it was fun to have it during its brief return.

After the parade, we headed out of the Park for the night! So overall, it was another fun Sunday at the Disneyland Resort! Join me again next week for more Sunday adventures at the Disneyland Resort!
