Walt Disney World Resort Provides Updates Ahead of Hurricane Dorian

Hurricane Dorian is expected to make landfall on the East coast of the United States early next week. Currently, it is a category 5 storm that could make landfall anywhere from Florida to the Carolinas. Ahead of the storm arriving, the Walt Disney World Resort has released a statement on how it will impact its operations.

Here is the statement on the Walt Disney World Resort website:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON HURRICANE DORIAN

Walt Disney World Resort is operating under normal conditions. We are closely monitoring the path of the projected weather, as nothing is more important than the safety of our guests and Cast Members.

We are taking precautions including closing Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park on Sunday.
