Walt Disney World Offering Mobile Ordering in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Mobile ordering has arrived at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Walt Disney World Resort. Just weeks after opening the second Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge expansion in a Disney theme park, the service is arriving at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The service will be rolled out throughout the week. The Milk Stand and Ronto Roasters are already offering mobile ordering. Starting on September 6th, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will begin to offer Mobile Ordering. Using Mobile Ordering, guests will be able to order food without waiting in the traditional line for the process. This is done through the My Disney Experience app.

Guests can utilize the My Disney Experience app to browse the menus at these locations, make selections, and then order their next meal. They can do this ahead of time from whatever location they happen to be at when making the order. Then, when they arrive at the location they simply click “I’m Here” in the app. Then, head to the Mobile Order counter where the food will be delivered. The service is a great time-saver so more time can be spent experience Disney theme parks, or in this case, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

One thing to note: ordering food via Mobile Ordering does not guarantee entrance to the land if it is at capacity and utilizing the virtual queue system.

What do you think of the new locations now being covered by Mobile Ordering? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
