Josh D’Amaro Leaving Disneyland Resort to Become President of Walt Disney World Resort

Today, Josh D’Amaro took to Instagram to let guests know that he will no longer act as President of Disneyland Resort. He took on the position in 2018 and has continued to make magic across the Resort during one of the biggest years in Disneyland history. We are proud to see him make the move to Walt Disney World Resort where he will take the role of president.

In the past, D’Amaro served as the senior vice president, Resorts, and Transportation from 2014 to 2017 at the Walt Disney World Resort. There, he was responsible for the operation of Walt Disney World’s 26 resort hotels and the resort-wide transportation system. He also served as vice president of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park from 2012-2014. He oversaw the parks largest expansion in history during his tenure there. Other roles D’Amaro has held have been in sales and marketing with Adventures by Disney along with the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. From 2008 to 2010, D’Amaro served as vice president, finance, Global Licensing for Disney’s Consumer Products Division.

We have had the pleasure of bumping into him many times around Disneyland and it was always such a pleasure. He truly embodies the magic of Disney and it is evident to those around him. He announced today that he will still be around for a few more weeks before Rebecca Campbell,  president of Europe, Middle East, and Africa for the company’s direct-to-consumer and the international segment will be taking over for him.
