Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Epcot International Festival of the Arts Returns in 2020

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort at the beginning of 2020. Starting on January 17, 2020, and continuing through February 24, 2020, this festival will offer guests the chance to experience art in a truly Disney way. The festival will offer visual, culinary and performing arts for guests who visit during its run. This will be done with live concerts and art performances, workshops, art signings, and other offerings at Epcot.

A popular highlight of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts that will again be returning in 2020 is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. Offered at the America Gardens Theatre, Disney on Broadway stars will pair up to perform their favorites songs from many award-winning productions. This concert series will be offered every night throughout the run of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.

There will also be some other new offerings at Epcot in January. In the France Pavilion in World Showcase, the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will debut. This will be in addition to Impressions de France, the current entertainment offering at the France Pavilion. The new show is being directed by Don Hahn who produced both the original animated classic “tale as old as time” and also the live-action retelling. In the Canada Pavilion, the new circle vision show will arrive in January of 2020 as well. Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 will offer new views of Canada with a new view for guests. And finally, at The Land pavilion, Awesome Planet will be arriving in January of 2020. This new show will showcase the “beauty, diversity and dynamic story of the planet.”

Along with all of these new offerings arriving in Epcot, Epcot Forever will also be featured each night. It will debut on October 1, 2019, and be presented until HarmonioUS arrives to replace it sometime in 2020. For those wishing to catch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth before it departs. This show will continue to be presented nightly until September 30, 2019.
