“Imagineering in a Box” is an online program brought to you by the diverse talents of many Imagineers across the company. The best part of it all? It is completely free! This is part of Disney’s ongoing commitment to investing in today’s youth so they can grow into tomorrow’s dreamers!
The series offers 32 videos in which Imagineers share the skills of their trade. There is a video for everything! From story development and conceptual design to math, physics, and engineering, each portion helps the magic of Disney come to life in an exciting way. The curriculum is designed to inspire the next generation to learn an entirely new set of skills!
Not only are there plenty of videos to learn from but there are also some modules to work on! Students on the course can learn from tutorials on engineering software to an interactive exercise where learners are encouraged to gather items around them and create something new. This gives those taking the course a chance to practically apply what they are learning from the courses. When students have a chance to work at their own pace and apply it to real-world situations, they are even more likely to truly learn in.
