The New Gran Destino Tower Opens as Part of the Reimagining of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

In an on-going effort to bring more exciting things to the Walt Disney World Resort, new offerings are opening often. Yesterday, the new Gran Destino Tower opened at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The new tower features 545 rooms, 50 of which are club level and suites. In addition to new hotel rooms, three new dining options have also opened at the resort. Tolédo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood and Dahlia Lounge both have incredible rooftop views from the 16th floor that overlook the resort. While on the waterfront of Lago Dorado, guest can dine at the all-new Three Bridges Bar and Grill. Each of these dining locations are sure to be the newest hot spots of the resort.

Gran Destino Tower boasts a stunning two-story lobby, creating an elegant and dramatic entrance for guests upon their arrival. As the resort continues to be reimagined, elegance is playing a key role in the design elements. Taking cues from Spain, Mexico, and the American Southwest, the details in the resort are exquisite. Unique shapes, tiles, warm colors, and patterns can be found around every corner. As someone who loves the smaller details, I’ll tell you that this new expansion looks incredible, and I hope to see it in person one day. Here’s a look at just some of the details of the decor in Gran Destino Tower.

More changes are coming in the reimagining of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and we can’t wait to see what they dream up next!

What do you think of this new hotel addition in Walt Disney World? Would you want to stay in Gran Destino Tower?

  1. Great photos! Can’t wait to visit. I think it was designed by Allard & Conversano Design…
