Sunday Spotlight: March of the First Order

The March of the First Order is a show that was performed first at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and then a variation at Disneyland. In it, Captain Phasma led her troops through Hollywood Blvd while looking for Resistance spies. This show ended its run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 6, 2019, before Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on August 29, 2019. In an announcement from Disney, it was said, “The First Order will be redeploying their troops to patrol Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when the new land opens on August 29.”

The March of the First Order debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on April 4, 2016. At Disneyland, Captain Phasma and her Stormtroopers arrived for the Star Wars Nite – Disneyland After Dark on May 7, 2018. It has been shown again during the month of May to celebrate May the 4th and beyond. During the show moment created by the March of the First Order, a bit of Star Wars entered the Disney Parks and allowed guests to experience a bit of their favorite galaxy far, far away. With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this will go to an entirely new level.
