Race weekend is nearly upon us! Though here in Southern California, we have put runDisney events on hold, it is still alive and well in Orlando and Paris. Today, we are excited to reveal the magical new runDisney medals that you can collect this September!
The weekend will roar into an incredible start with the Disneyland Paris 5K, celebrating the Disney classic “The Lion King.” If you want to have your “best race ever,” the Disneyland Paris 10K will be celebrating Disney royalty and loyal sidekicks. The finishing medal will honor the one and only Rapunzel! Be sure to grab your runDisney medals for Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon as Mickey and Minnie make their medal debut!
If you’re running in either of the challenges, be sure to pick up your fabulous finishing medal featuring characters from “Aladdin!” Runners who complete both the Disneyland Paris 10K plus Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half for the 31K Challenge will earn a captivating medal featuring Aladdin and the Magic Carpet. To celebrate the powerful accomplishment of finishing Disneyland Paris 5K, Disneyland Paris 10K and Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon during the 36K Challenge, runners will receive a medal featuring the all-powerful Genie.
Of course, there’s always another challenge! Guests who participate in the half marathon in Disneyland Paris and any runDisney event in Walt Disney World will be awarded the Castle to Château medal. Get excited about this year’s race by looking back at last year with this amazing video:
