New Castle Color Scheme Revealed at Disneyland Resort Ahead of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Later this Month

Guests visiting Disneyland today were given a real treat. The scrims are continuing to come down around Sleeping Beauty Castle. What can now be seen are the new vibrant and fanciful colors of Sleeping Beauty Castle. While there are still scrims and walls still around the castle, what has been revealed gives a pretty good picture (quite literally) of what is coming.

The renovation of the castle is part of Project Stardust. Over the last few months Disneyland has been getting polished up, walkways widened, and seating changed ahead of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge through this project. When completed, the castle will be ready to greet guests to the happiest place on Earth! this summer.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be opening at the Disneyland Resort on May 31, 2019. Also returning this summer to the Disneyland Resort will be the fireworks spectacular Disneyland Forever. It will light up the skies over Disneyland starting on June 7th.
