Alumni of the Mickey Mouse Club were at the Magic Kingdom for a very special reunion. Cast Members from all seven seasons of the ‘All New’ Mickey Mouse Club reunited for a special cavalcade at Walt Disney World.
This is the cast who filmed their show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on the Disney Channel which aired on April 24, 1989. The Mouseketeers were also on-hand to open Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 1, 1989. Now, thirty years later they are returning to the Walt Disney World Resort where it all began. Many of these Mouseketeers went on to have successful careers in theater, film, and television, and music.
The cavalcade on Friday kicked off a weekend of celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the show. This reunion is being hosted by Joey Fatone and will be celebrated at both the Walt Disney World Resort and Megacon. Benefits from this weekends events will go to supporting Give Kids The World Village. This is a non-profit dedicated to critically ill children that have been supported by the Walt Disney World Resort for over 30 years. The weekend’s events will also benefit onePULSE Foundation and its efforts to support inclusion and diversity. Finally, the events will also be supporting Always In The Club Foundation in its efforts to promote arts, education, and entrepreneurship for underserved youth.
