Are you ready racers? Get ready to tune into the “Disney Parks Presents a 25 Days of Christmas Holiday Party” special and catch a glimpse of Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Holiday Special, available now on the DisneyNOW app and December 1 at 8 p.m. EST on Disney Channel, features appearances and performances by some of your favorite Disney Channel stars! Hosts include including hosts Ruby Rose Turner, Dakota Lotus (Disney Channel’s Coop & Cami Ask the World”), Kylee Russell, Meg Donnelly (Disney Channel Original Movie “ZOMBIES”) Sadie Stanley (Disney Channel Original Movie “Kim Possible”) and Sean Giambrone (Disney Channel Original Movie “Kim Possible,” ABC’s “The Goldbergs”). The celebrity that we are most looking forward to seeing it racing legend Lightning McQueen and all his pals!
The hosts take us behind the pixie dust to see what Imagineers have in store for us at the Racing Academy! In 2019, rookie racers will be able to step into the Sunset Showcase Theater and find themselves face-to-face with McQueen! The screen will stretch to almost two stories and will wrap around the theater, immersing guests in the action! As Lightning tries to show off what he has learned over his career, things don’t always go according to plan. Friends like Tow Mater, Cruz Ramirez and Lightning’s pals from Radiator Springs chime in with their support, as Lightning gears up for the challenge.
