Are you ready to take on the adventure of a lifetime with “Nutcracker and the Four Realms” when it hits theaters this November? Get ready to see even more of this holiday feature with a special featurette featuring Misty Copeland!
Misty Copeland, often referred to as a prodigy, took the ballet world by storm when she became the first African-American woman to become a principal dancer for American Ballet Theater. Copeland has not only been a prominent figure in the ballet scene since the early 2000s, but she also has become an author and public speaker, speaking on personal struggles she has had in the ballet community. While it is certainly not unusual for her to be in the spotlight, a Disney film focusing on a classic ballet tale is definitely not a frequent occurrence and an honor that she does not take lightly. Check out more of her thoughts about being on set in the featurette below!
