This morning, we had the privilege of attending an event to preview the upcoming CHOC Children’s Rock’N Luau which will take place on Saturday, August 25, the day before the annual CHOC Walk in the Park! Every year in preparation for CHOC Walk in the Park, CHOC holds a special luau to help raise money for the important work happening every single day in the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. This year is guaranteed to be a rockin’ good time as guests are invited to don their 50’s and support a great cause!
Friends and supporters gathered at Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Downtown Disney, where the Luau will be held, for a fun morning of bowling, food, and fun! Guests in attendance were given a special sneak peek at the medal and pin that walkers will receive after reaching certain levels of fundraising for the CHOC Walk in the Park, and Mr. DAPS even interviewed artist Jeff Granito, who designed both pieces. New to this year, CHOC Walk teams that are walking in memory of a patient can receive a special cape for the event.
Every year, the Luau is hosted by CHOC Walk Ambassadors of past and present, those who have been directly affected by the incredible work being done by countless staff members at CHOC. The event is on Saturday, August 25th at Splitsville in Downtown Disney, and will feature a bowling tournament, raffle, buffet, and Polynesian entertainment. It is another wonderful event to raise funds and awareness for CHOC and the life-changing things they are doing for families in our community. You can purchase tickets for the Luau and find more information here.
Thank you to CHOC Children’s, Splitsville, and Tustin Toyota for a wonderful event!
