‘Jungle Cruise’ Feature Film Finds A Villain in Edgar Ramirez

This morning, it was announced that Edgar Ramirez would be joining the cast of ‘Jungle Cruise’, the feature film based on the Disneyland attraction.

The film, which currently stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Emily Blunt, and comedian Jack Whitewall are all taking on the Jungle in a way we’ve never seen before! Johnson will play a 20th-century boat captain that takes his sister (Blunt) and her boyfriend (Whitewall) deep into the jungle on a small riverboat. As they creep deeper into the jungle, more dangerous animals will make appearances and put our boat crew into treacherous situations. Along the way, they will run into a conquistador (Ramirez) who will show them that the animals aren’t the only thing to worry about.

FIlmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra, the mind behind The Shallows, The Commuter, and Non-Stop. Behind the film are producers Beau Flynn, John Davis, John Fox, Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson and Hiram Garcia.

The epic Jungle Cruise flick is set to film through Summer 2018 and more details are sure to come out before then!
