Children’s Hospital of Orange County Introduces 2018 CHOC Walk in the Park Ambassador

Each year, Children’s Hospital of Orange County picks a child to act as the ambassador for the CHOC Walk in the Park presented by the Disneyland Resort. This week, it was announced they chose their ambassador, Justin!

Justin was born 11 years ago with a very rare neurological condition that made him and his family frequent visitors to CHOC. In 2012, Justin’s family and friends banded together to create a CHOC Walk in the Park team as a way to give back for all the amazing work the hospital had done, and the rest is history. Last year, the “Justin’s Helpers” team had almost 400 members and raised over $51,000!

Every year, CHOC will choose a child to represent the Walk in the Park and to be the official family. The family will attend many events leading up to the walk at Disneyland in August and will ride in the pace car for CHOC Walk! Last year, we were honored to have the 2017 CHOC Walk in the Park ambassador join us for ROCK4CHOC, the fundraising concert event that raised thousands.
