Hong Kong Disneyland is going to have a fantastic spring and summer as it celebrates with the Carnival of the Stars. The celebration will focus on entertainment around the park with some new shows and experiences. Carnival of the Stars began on Friday, March 16th.
On Main Street, USA Mickey Mouse will be lighting up the night with the new projection show called We Love Mickey!. Main Street will turn into a colorful canvas that shares the story of Mickey Mouse with highlights of his career.
One of the highlights of Carnival of the Stars will be that guests can find and meet more than 100 characters around Hong Kong Disneyland. While there are a lot of classic Disney characters to visit, there will also be some Marvel characters coming to the park. Black Panther, Spider-Man and Groot will all be coming to Hong Kong Disneyland this spring. On top of that, the Disney Friends Springtime Processional will bring over 30 characters to sing, dance, and celebrate. A new Disney-Pixar street party, Water Play Street Party, will also help keep guests cool in this first Disney-Pixar experience of its kind.
The Karibuni Marketplace will be opening on March 30th in Adventureland at Hong Kong Disneyland. It will give guests the chance to be immersed in the sights, sounds, and lively colors of Africa when they visit. The area will be full of interactive games, snacks, and exclusive souvenirs. Karibuni Marketplace will also find Disney and Pixar characters from UP, The Jungle Book, The Lion King and Aladdin dropping by.
Finally, this coming May a new stage show will be coming to Adventureland. Moana: A Homecoming Celebration, the first new attraction added during Hong Kong Disneyland’s multi-year expansion, will guests the chance to see and meet Moana at Hong Kong Disneyland for the first time.
