Parades are one of the most magical experiences at any Disney theme park. At Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom there is a parade dedicated to basically Fantasyland. The Festival of Fantasy Parade winds its way through the Magic Kingdom with favorite fantasy characters and moments being represented through its seven sections. The parade begins with Disney princesses which includes Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Elsa and Anna from Frozen. This is followed by a float bringing the characters of Tangled to life as they celebrate the “best day ever!” The Little Mermaid follows with Ariel and friends. Peter Pan and Wendy are then chased by Captain Hook who is chased by the crocodile. Things then pivot to Pixar as Merida and the gang from Brave come next. The fire-breathing dragon Maleficent chases the parade route as she blows fire above the guests as Prince Phillip battles her with his mighty Sword of Truth. Finally, Mickey and Minnie fly in aboard their hot air balloon as they are joined by other Disney friends for a magical ending of the parade.
The Festival of Fantasy Parade is presented pretty much daily at the Magic Kingdom park. Check the times guide for specific times. Generally it is fairly easy to find viewing for this parade. Avoid Main Street or the Hub if you don’t want to wait as long.
