For many guests visiting the Disneyland Resort, one of the places they have to visit is the iconic World of Disney store. This store has anything and everything a Disney fan could want to get and bring home from the Disneyland Resort. Beginning in February, the World of Disney store at the Disneyland Resort and also the Walt Disney World Resort will be re-imagined to create an even better Disney shopping experience for guests.
The re-imagining will focus on the interior of these two stores. The stores will continue to offer Disney merchandise from the Disney Parks during the process which will take place in phases. The Disney Parks Blog described the shopping options during the renovations for each resort in the following way:
Shops in Town Center at Disney Springs, such as Ever After Jewelry Co. or The Disney Corner (opening in mid-February), will carry select merchandise while World of Disney undergoes renovations.
At Downtown Disney District in California, World of Disney will remain open during the renovation. Additionally, Guests can find great shopping in the recently opened Dream Boutique, as well as the Disney Home store opening February 2018 in the former D-Street location.
