Small Fire Erupts in Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort

Tonight a small fire erupted in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. The fire appeared within the construction area for the new Splitsville Luxury Lanes that are being built in Downtown Disney. This is right next to Build-A-Bear Workshop. The area was quickly cleared and the fire was put out. A Disneyland Resort spokesperson confirmed that this small fire happened in a dumpster in a Downtown Disney District construction zone.

According to those on the scene, the area was soon closed and trams stopped operation while the blaze was taken care of. As is often the case with any situation, guest safety is of utmost priority to Disney.
