“The Little Mermaid” has been my favorite movie ever since I could comprehend what movies were. To this day, it is still my all-time favorite Disney movie. Ariel is a very popular princess to all ages, however, most merchandise is geared towards children. This new line is geared towards adults, and there are some gorgeous pieces! Some of the items debuted about a month ago, but they’ve been adding to it over recent weeks.
I appreciate that this line is all decor and home goods. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ariel clothing and accessories, but it’s nice to see some merchandise that’s a little more refined and not character heavy. Personally, my favorite pieces are the mirror and the decorative pillow. The trinket box is adorable, as the inside has Ariel’s silhouette with words like “thingamabobs”, “dinglehoppers”, etc. inside. I look forward to some new merchandise for other movies that follow this sort of style. I will definitely be purchasing a few of these items for my own collection of gadgets and gizmos a plenty.
