Though previously rumored, Disney Parks Blog has now confirmed that Sprinkles will be opening in Downtown Disney at Disneyland this Fall.  No exact date has been set yet.  Sprinkles cupcake has been serving gourmet cupcakes and other treats, like cookies, for some years now.  It’s not yet known exactly where the store will be opening.  But, there is construction next to the new Starbucks location on the west side of the shopping district.  Quiksilver has also left Downtown Disney, adding an empty venue that could be fulfilled by the cupcakes.  In any case, it will take shape over the next month and sure to be a crowd pleaser in November.
