Announced on the Disney Parks Blog in conjunction with their look back at the last 61 years of the Resort, the Mark Twain, Disneyland Railroad, and Fantasmic will all be back in the Summer of 2017. The Railroad and Rivers of America have been closed to help make way for the new Star Wars Land, which still does not have an opening date. The Parks Blog had showed some artwork of the new track design for the Disneyland Railroad, as it will be rerouted to accommodate the new land. No exact date has been announced, but the description says that all Rivers of America attractions will be included in the return. That means not just Mark Twain, but Columbia, Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, and Explorer Canoes. In the meantime, the trains will remain at the Main Street and New Orleans Square station for up close looks.
