Epcot is one of my favorite places to visit period. It is an absolutely beautiful park in so many different ways. I love all the different places that are beautiful to take photos. I love all the different foods and drinks. Most of all, I love getting to experience all the different cultures that can be found while wandering around the World Showcase. On the third day at Walt Disney World, Epcot was on the docket and I was a very happy camper. First stop at Epcot was Starbucks. Coffee in hand, it was time to wander towards World Showcase. We made a brief stop to visit Mickey and the gang followed by Baymax, which was surprisingly fun. Then as we were walking from Canada to the United Kingdom, a cadre of characters appeared that led to a few minutes of fun.
The day was absolutely beautiful as we wandered around the park. Lunch was enjoyed in the France Pavilion, also a favorite. It’s a dangerous place to be as there are entirely too many sweet treats and they all are amazing! After some more time spent at Epcot, it was time to take the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom.
The main reason to visit the Magic Kingdom on this day (Saturday) was for dinner at Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland. This immersive restaurant puts diners right in the middle of Beast’s castle for a wonderful meal that could have been straight out of Beauty and the Beast. The food was very enjoyable and the grey stuff, well…. I won’t even say it. Perhaps my favorite detail of the restaurant was the scene outside the main dining room. I loved seeing the snow come down outside and the mountains in the distance. It was absolutely beautiful and easily my favorite bit of magic at Be Our Guest. After dinner, we met Beast before heading back out into the Magic Kingdom. The evening ended with a few more attractions before we hopped on a ferry, followed by a monorail, followed by a bus as we made our way back to the hotel.
Day three at Walt Disney World Resort was incredibly enjoyable and incredibly relaxing. It’s nice not having to rush and do everything and instead just enjoy the atmosphere. Oh, and one thing I didn’t mention yet is how much I enjoyed all the flowers and topiaries in Epcot for the Flower & Garden Festival. They were simply stunning!
