ANA’s BB-8 Themed Jet Lands at Los Angeles International Airport

A while back, we mentioned that Japan’s largest airline, ANA, would soon hold the inaugural flight for their BB-8 themed jet. On Monday, the BB-8™ ANA JET (Boeing 777-300) touched based at LAX after leaving Japan.

The jet, which is Star Wars themed both inside and out, is now on a variety of international flight routes.

After unveiling the aircraft in a ceremony on March 27 at Osaka’s Itami Airport, the aircraft made a one-off domestic flight as ANA22 from Itami to Haneda before departing the airport as flight ANA106 to Los Angeles, marking the start of the aircraft’s international service. The aircraft is scheduled to fly various international routes, principally routes linking Haneda, Narita and US – Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Houston, and Singapore.

Check out a few of the fun photos below. Would you like to fly aboard this jet?
