The internet has been all a buzz since The Hollywood Reporter announced Paul McCartney will make an appearance in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth film in the franchise, will bring back familiar faces and even introduce this rock-star legend.
The article goes on the say that McCartney will be in at least one scene alongside Jack Sparrow. In doing so, the already wrapped film is now taking on the task of adding a new scene.
In the past, rock legend Keith Richards made his way into the franchise. His part? Father of Jack Sparrow himself! He was featured in films At World’s End and On Stranger Tides.
It leads us to wonder, what role will McCartney have in the film? Dead Men Tell No Tales swashbuckles into theaters on May 26, 2017.
