You may have seen a recent post on the DAPs Magic Instagram account about Ghirardelli heading to Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort. As of today, November 3, this seasonal location is now officially open according to Disney Parks Blog.
The store opened just in time for the holiday season. At this specific location, merchandise only will be sold. Items such as ice cream and shakes will only be made available at the Disney California Adventure Park location.
If you are interested in visiting this brand new Ghirardelli, the shop can be found right across from the Rainforest Café.
For the shopping convenience of Downtown Disney District guests, the seasonal retail location offers a variety of beautifully wrapped gifts, limited-edition Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark, classic bars and SQUARES, pick-and-mix chocolates, novelties and more.
According to the Orange County Register, the first 100 customers received a full sized chocolate bar today. No word as to how long this seasonal shop will stay.
