Popcorn, popcorn, get your popcorn! Announced during the week, Disney Parks’ official new popcorn vendor was named. This “long-term strategic alliance agreement” was made with Disney Parks and the popular popcorn brand, Pop Secret.
Pop Secret is now the official popcorn for the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. This brand is produced by the company, Diamond Foods Inc.
Burke Raine, Vice President of Marketing, Snacks, of Diamond, said in a press release, “We have been looking for an alliance that is in-line with our core brand values and we couldn’t be more delighted to announce this relationship with Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Pop Secret popcorn and Disney both have deep associations with movies and encourage lasting memories shaped by fun family activities.”
Popcorn from Pop Secret is set to be sold at popcorn carts throughout the resorts as well as becoming the sponsor of Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park.
