Lucasfilm Joins Forces with Seven Major Brands for ‘Force Awakens’ Campaign

With the large anticipation of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the company announced on Thursday that they have partnered up with seven top brands for “an expansive, historic promotional campaign” for the new film. By teaming up with other organizations, the promotion of the film is set for a larger scale.

Companies that Lucasfilm has teamed with include the following:

Duracell
FCA US
General Mills
HP
Subway®
Verizon

Lynwen Brennan, General Manager of Lucasfilm, said in a press statement, “we are thrilled to be working with such a stellar roster of promotional partners.  The ‘Star Wars’ brand has endured over the years, across generational audiences because it connects with people in a very special way. Our partners have all delivered original, stand-out campaigns that capture the familiar fun and excitement of our galaxy far, far away that we hope will delight fans as they get ready to experience Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

With the diversity of each brand, the film as well as franchise will be promoted on a variety of levels.
