Tomorrowland New Trailer – What's In It?

Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland

TomorrowlandDuring the Super Bowl, Disney premiered a new trailer for the upcoming Tomorrowland movie, directed by Brad Bird.  It starts with the main character, Casey, looking up at a model of a space shuttle.  Throughout it, George Clooney’s character, Frank Walker, narrates with some lines we’ve previously heard.  And there’s some new ones.

To me, the most exciting part is seeing Hugh Laurie’s character in a very tomorrow looking garb.  But, the trailer doesn’t reveal much more than images of the futuristic city.  The end of it has a very interesting part where Walker is being blasted in a rocket of some sort to who knows where.

I’m intrigued with the film, but not much more than I already was.  The images of a futuristic, yet nostalgic, city is great.  But, I kind of wanted more reveal of what will be happening between people.  I’m a little surprised at the lack of Disneyland inspired buildings and tech in what they showed.  Yet, I’m glad they didn’t because it shows this is a pretty stand alone movie.

I’m excited to see more, and to see the movie.  Below is the trailer if you haven’t had a chance to watch yet.
