Hydra is a prisoner and is escaping from the Avengers Helicarrier in this new video posted by Flite Test. Captain America and War Machine are trying to stop him while Iron Man is aboard a “googly eyed dinosaur.” With a setup like that, how can this video NOT be good? Yes, this is a geek dream come true with remote control aircraft, fancy video cameras, and don’t forget about all the Marvel stuff!
Once they have somewhat succeeded with the field flights, it is time to take it to the next level… for better or worse. They then take it to the University of Akron where there is an indoor flight field. There, they allow other pilots with model aircraft to attempt to land on the Helicarrier. This looks more like a battle zone than attempts at landing but it is very amusing to watch.
Not only is this video a blast, it is full of ideas for making for a fun project for the geeky Marvel fans with an aeronautic bent. This video was originally posted on January 12, 2015. It is also just one of many flight tests created by these guys. They have a fantastic website and it is definitely worth checking out.
