"Frozen Fun" Officially Begins Today at the Disneyland Resort

Today begins the official start of “Frozen Fun” at the Disneyland Resort. Here guests of all ages can take part in a variety of entertainment options inspired from Disney’s “Frozen.” If you enjoy the film, then this is that place you’ll have to check out. So what exactly can you expect from “Frozen Fun?” Let’s find out.

Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome

Located at Disney California Adventure Park in Hollywood Land, guests can find the magical joys of “Frozen.” In the “Frozen Fun” area, there are several different aspects you can enjoy. The first being “Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome.” Located inside the Disney Animation Building, Anna and Elsa will be meeting guests. Here you can take photos, get autographs and even discuss your favorite part of the movie with Anna and Elsa. If you would like to meet Anna and Elsa, guests will need to have a Return Time Ticket. These tickets can be found outside the Disney Animation Building. Each ticket will give you a time slot in which you can arrive to meet the characters. In addition, the Disney Animation Building will also feature “Do You Want to Draw a Snowman?” at the Animation Academy. Disney cast members will teach you how to draw Olaf and that’s pretty exciting.

For the First Time in Forever – A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

Across the way at the Crown Jewel Theatre of Arendelle, guests can find the “For the First Time in Forever – A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.” This show includes Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and more. Here you will be able to sing your favorite “Frozen” songs such as “Let it Go” and “In Summer.” Times for the show are as followed: 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:15 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 7:45 PM. Olaf’s Snow Fest

At Stage 17, “Olaf’s Snow Fest” has become a truly delightful winter experience. Not only can you meet the adorable Olaf, but you can also give him a big warm hug. On top of that, there is a play area filled with real snow. Here you can slide down an icy slope and build your very own snowman.

Freeze the Night! A Family Dance Party

When the sun sets, the “Freeze the Night! A Family Dance Party” begins. This family friendly atmosphere includes live music, face painting, ice sculptors and so much more. You can dance the night away with great music from DJ Chilly. There will even be live dancing performances from the Ice Breakers. In addition, snacks and beverages for a variety of ages can be found during the dance party.

 

Disneyland Park

The “Frozen Fun” doesn’t stop at Disney California Adventure Park. Over at Disneyland Park, the Royal Theater at Fantasy Faire will begin a brand new stage show. With some help from Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones, the story of “Frozen” will be played out right before your eyes on stage. Anna, Elsa and the Faire Maidens are sure to bring the story to life. If you wish to view this show, Disney FASTPASS will be available giving a specific showtime. Times for shows are as followed: 11:05 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:30 PM, 3:15 PM, 4:30 PM and 5:45 PM. Please note that times are subject to change.

Also at Disneyland Park, Anna and Elsa can be found during the daily pre-parade right before Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.

Last but not least, the popular Storybook Land Canal Boats in Fantasyland have a new addition. The world of Arendelle has been added to the attraction making it the newest addition of miniature lands. You can get a glimpse of the Kingdom, Elsa’s Icy Castle and Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post.
