This morning Fastpasses Return Trip Tickets were distributed to guests wanting to visit Anna and Elsa at the Frozen meet n’ greet location in Fantasyland at Disneyland.

The initial information came from a tweet from @characterfan:

Guests must have their ticket (or annual pass) scanned to receive a fastpass Return Trip Ticket for the location. Guests must then have their Return Trip Tickets to visit Anna & Elsa. Return Trip Tickets were all passed out within an hour and a half of park opening. To get one, plan on stopping by early in the day with your entire party (or their tickets) to receive a Return Trip Ticket.

The new system appeared to be running fairly smoothly. The queue for the Frozen location was quite short compared to the multi-hour long line that has become the norm. After several minutes of observation, the reaction to this new system seemed fairly positive. Two managers and two hosts stood out front to explain the system to guests. The two hosts held iPod like devices to scan tickets. The cast members at the location did not know if this was a permanent change for the location or not.

If you are unable to get a ticket to Frozen, you will still have an opportunity to see Anna & Elsa in the Frozen pre-parade. Please ask a cast member for more information.

We have reached out to Disneyland for more information on this new system to see if this is a permanent change or just something that is being tested. We will have more details and update this story as they become available.
