This fall Star Wars fans will get their thirst partially quenched for more Star Wars when Star Wars Rebels hits the airwaves. This highly anticipated television show has been billed as a connector that will bring the Star Wars universe together. It also has been said that there will be quite a few surprises included in the show. Could the return of Captain Rex, the RX-Series Pilot Droid be one of these surprises?
Yakface found the following image in a book entitled Star Wars Rebels: Head-to-Head. This book gives a look at the characters and vehicles of the new Star Wars series.
Now, this is just a glimpse of what could possibly come. Does this mean that Captain Rex and Star Tours will be appearing in Star Wars Rebels? Does this mean that Paul Reubins (The original voice of Captain Rex in Star Tours and also Pee Wee Herman) will be having his voice featured in the show? At this point, anything is possible. It could be that the RX-Series Pilot Droid will be making an appearance without Star Tours or Captain Rex. Or it could be the return of a quirky and beloved character into what will be part of the Star Wars canon.
There are a lot of unknowns but this certainly is something fun to see and to speculate about.
